If you are going to treat yourself look carefully when you are shopping for a new bed. Some manufacturers or websites sometimes throw in a free gift with it – and it will tend to be new pillows or something similar. Most people automatically buy a double duvet to go with a double bed. But if you are always fighting to get the duvet back off your partner, you might want to consider buying a king size duvet instead. This will hang down further over the sides of the bed – and it will give you both much more duvet to share between you as well.

These are wonderful for decoration and they also feel good when you put them behind your pillows so you can sit up in bed and read. And to finish off the effect, simply add some scatter cushions to the bed as well. You can mix and match these – they will look great and they really make a big difference.
As you can see there are plenty of ways you can dress up your brand new bed so that it looks fantastic. You will have to be prepared for a slightly higher outlay to begin with, but there is nothing better than climbing into a new bed with a new duvet and new pillows to sink down into.
